Knitting with light
Silver clay - the makings of a new obsession

A scarf for an Indian winter

What do you do on the slow car journeys during a fantastic and inspirational trip to highlights of India including Agra and Jaipur?

In my case, knit - obviously.

I needed something with a relatively simple pattern repeat and which would be cool in my hands. I had almost a skein of Wendy Happy Aquarius and so decided on a narrower version of Nancy Bush's Lilac Leaf from Knitted Lace of Estonia.

It certainly impressed our driver who wasn't used to tourist who produced shawls rather than buy them in the bazaar.
